- Fairy gardens – Thanks again to Pinterest, I have WAY TOO MANY projects on my mind. Several fairy garden pins like this one, this one, and this one (and still several others on MFF’s “backyard fun” pinterest board) made my imagination run wild with possibilities. I need to make sure you know that I DO NOT HAVE A GREEN THUMB. My mom kept all green/gardening genes to herself! Still, I love gardens and truly appreciate beautiful landscaping. Combine the yard with a little fairy magic and I’M GAME. Here was our starting point: It was a good three hours into our magical adventure and the girls were still enthralled. Incredible what a little fresh air, a few plants, dirt, and no TV can do, right?
